Love God. Love People. Love Life
We are helping New Immigrants and Refugees to the Negev region with vital humanitarian aid and support.

WHO WE ARE

Negev Ministries is the humanitarian arm of the Messianic Jewish community of “Netzer Ba Midbar” (Root in the Desert) based in Be’er Sheva, in the heart of the Negev Desert, which was born through a strong desire to help new immigrants (olim chadashim) as they establish themselves in their new homeland.

During the nineties we ourselves were new immigrants and we understand from personal experience how challenging it is to adapt to a new way of life, language, and culture, and how a spoken word of encouragement and a friendly shoulder can be of immense support.

And so we endeavored that through our earnest desire and ability, we would make a real difference in the lives of new immigrants, and so this project and ministry was born. We believe that great things lie in store for Negev Ministries, and that through the love and support of those with a heart for Israel, we’ll be able to achieve multitudes of new immigrants and refugees.

OUR MINISTRY

The scripture that has been at the heart of our vision is found in the Old Testament in Ecclesiastes 9:10 and reads:“Whatever your hand can do, do it with your might.”

WHAT WE DO

Our distribution centre serves as a hub and community centre from which humanitarian aid flows to all of those who come to us for help. Our passionate team of volunteers work hard to make sure that our centre runs smoothly as we receive people from all walks of life, and from every background, and we do not turn anyone away.

We aid struggling families, Ukrainian refugees, single parents, widows/widowers, Holocaust Survivors, the elderly, and the sickly with food hampers, clothing, shoes, baby products, books, school supplies, furniture, orthopedic equipment, and medical supply vouchers for the elderly. We aid dozens of families a month, with many more families on our waiting list for aid.

The need is great and we are ready, willing, and driven to supply in the practical needs of people. We are hopeful that more partners will join with us in our efforts, and to assist us financially to effectively carry our humanitarian operations, thus reaching more and more Israelis in need.

Thanks for your support
